Soames Hotel and Jack's Bar Self Drive Staycations

Soames Hotel and Jacks Bar is a beautiful newly constructed hotel and restaurant, located 7km from Nanyuki town on the Nanyuki Naro-Moru highway.

An out of town hotel, set within a 100 acre private property overlooking Mount Kenya.

Its classic contemporary style with a clean cut modern look, simply and tastefully furnished, is a great place for a meal out or an overnight stay.

In the heart of the main hotel lounge area is Jack's Bar, serving freshly brewed Ethiopia coffee, cocktails and drinks with a good selection of wines, and a tempting snack menu.

The cuisine is excellent, serving favorite dishes from all over the world, using the best and most fresh ingredients available, and home-made as much as possible.

The hotel has 12 double en-suit rooms, with a double or twin bed configuration, flat screen TV, modern bathroom facilities and a dressing room / work space. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities.

Located 7km from Nanyuki town (equator) and 2 km from Nanyuki Airstrip, on the Nanyuki-Naro Moru highway.

Set within 100 acre property, with grass fields and acacia trees. All rooms have a sun rise view of Mount Kenya, with natural landscapes in the foreground.

Accommodation

12 garden cottages (for 24 people) Simple in style with airy bright rooms, wooden floors, light paint colours and furnishings. All rooms are identical, and can be configured as single, twin & double rooms. Extra child bed is also possible.

A 4-poster mosquito net covers the bed.

Each room has an entrance from the garden, a small terrace with two comfy chairs to enjoy to view.

The rooms have DSTV and wifi. A small study area looks onto the view through a large window. This space is also a dressing area with wardrobe, and has a tea and coffee tray with kettle and selection of tea, coffee granules and drinking water.

The bathroom is finished in terrazzo, with a walk in shower, and a basin set within a wooden frame.
